Jim Abbott was with First Union Mortgage Corp. for 34 years, and served as its President and CEO from 1980 to 1995. Jim has served as President of the Mortgage Bankers Association of the Carolinas and in 1990 was the recipient of the Mortgage Bankers Association of America’s highest honor, the Distinguished Service Award.
