A Yale University graduate, Troy combines analytical expertise with a personalized approach, providing customized loan strategies tailored to each client’s goals.
He specializes in Conventional, FHA, VA, Jumbo, Investment Property, DSCR, Bank Statement/Non-QM, Self-Employed Borrower, Second Home, and Home Equity Financing. Troy is particularly experienced in complex jumbo loans, financing solutions for self-employed borrowers, and guiding first-time homebuyers through the mortgage process.
Known for his responsiveness, industry expertise, and genuine care for his clients, Troy is dedicated to providing thoughtful guidance and creative financing solutions. His accomplishments include recognition as a Scotsman Guide Top 1% Originator for four consecutive years, a 12-time Five Star Mortgage Professional, and a 16-year member of the ASMC Chairman’s Club.
Outside of work, Troy enjoys spending time with his wife, Ashley, who has been his partner in life for 31 years and is also a valued member of his mortgage team. Together they have raised three adult children, Jordan, David, and Daniel, and enjoy watching them build their own careers and paths in life.
Troy is passionate about giving back to the community and proudly supports Charlotte-area charities, including Claire’s Army and Gift of Grace/Ward’s Foundation. In his free time, you’ll often find him on the golf course with friends as a member of Cedarwood Country Club, or enjoying time on the water along the North and South Carolina coast, where he loves visiting family and making the most of the Carolina lifestyle.
